The Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)

My Dear Indians, Let us assume….the residential colony where you live has 195 children of your age. Out of these 195 children, 5 are bullies (दादागिरी करनेवाले ) One fine day these 5 bullies decide that all 195 of you should sign an agreement that no one in the group would bully others. However, these 5 bullies will continue to be the way they are and would ‘try’ to change themselves. My question to you is- Will you agree to this ? Will you sign the agreement ? And why ?  ....... I know you would say NO to this biased agreement.  ........ Now let us assign names to the characters and places in the above story……….. My Dear Young and Little Indians, India has 15,106 km of land borders with other countries and 7,516 kms of coastline (borders along the seas) A large country like India needs bigger ships to protect its coastline. It was commissioned into the Indian Navy 60 years back on 4 March 1961. After serving India and The Indian Navy for 36 years, INS Vikrant was decommissioned on 31 January 1997. (Commission is a military term meaning joining the military. Decommission means leaving the military or retiring from service. When an officer or military hardware

My Dear Young and Little Indians, Actions speak louder than words You are familiar with this saying ? I am sure you are.   No amount of good words can match one good action.   Today let us talk about a man who proved his mettle and worth with his actions. Subedar Sanjay Kumar, Param Vir Chakra Today is his 45 th birthday. He was born on 3 rd March 1976. He hails from Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh.   In 2019 we had the good fortune of meeting our “God in Uniform” I got in touch with him with the help of a friend of mine. I spoke to him requesting for an appointment. We reached his office on time and you know... he was there at the gate waiting to receive us. A man who is beyond the ordinary, a man who has done the unimaginable, a man who has defied death, a man who commands respect where ever he goes and where ever he is talked about has the humility to be at the gate to receive his unknown guests ! My dear Young and Little Indians ....... my experience o
