Civil Services Day - India - 21 April
My Dear Young Indians, 21 April was The Civil Services Day of India This date is chosen to commemorate the day when the first home minister of independent India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel addressed the probationers of Administrative Services Officers in 1947 at Metcalf House, Delhi. He had referred to civil servants as the Steel frame of India . India is a democracy. The elected representatives come and go with each election. The Civil Servants are the Permanent Executive of India. Elected representatives meaning the Prime Minister, his council of ministers and the Parliamentarians make laws and frame policies for the country. Implementing these policies is the responsibility of Civil Servants (sometimes referred to as Bureaucrats) Today you may be dreaming of being an Engineer or Doctor. The good part about Civil Services Exam is that you have to appear for it after B Tech/ MBBS/ Chartered Accountancy/ B Com./ B Sc/ BA.or any other graduation course. Complete your Class 12 Complete
