Indian Navy Day


Dear Indians,

Today- 4 Dec- is Navy Day of India.

This day we remember and rejoice the super-successful attack by The Indian Navy on Karachi, which is the largest commercial port and Naval Harbour of Pakistan.

Before the India-Pakistan war of 1971, the then Chief of Naval Staff Admiral S M Nanda had said... 

"If war comes again, I assure you that we shall carry it right into the enemy's biggest ports like Karachi. And you have my word that given the opportunity, the Indian Navy will make the world's biggest bonfire of it."

And the Indian Navy did it.

On the night of December 4-5, 1971, Admiral Nanda ordered missile attacks on Karachi. The fire raged on for seven days, enveloping Karachi in smoke.

My Dear Young and Little Indians,  Today is the 124th birthday of Shaheed Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil рдкंрдбिрдд рд░ाрдо рдк्рд░рд╕ाрдж рдмिрд╕्рдоिрд▓ , the revolutionary who fought and died for the freedom that WE enjoy.     1897- He was born on 11 June 1897 in Shahjahanpur city which is in present day Uttar Pradesh. He was a follower of Arya Samaj рдЖрд░्рдп рд╕рдоाрдЬ He was good at writing Hindi and Urdu poetry. 1915- Bhai Parmanand рднाрдИ рдкрд░рдоाрдирди्рдж , a member of Arya Samaj рдЖрд░्рдп рд╕рдоाрдЬ and a leader of Hindu Mahasabha рд╣िрди्рджू рдорд╣ाрд╕рднा , was sentenced to death by the British. This angered Ram Prasad Bismil Ji. He wrote patriotic poems to express himself. These terms have been coined to denote the Order of precedence of the Republic of India. What does Order of precedence of the Republic of India mean? A list of senior Govt functionaries/ Officers/ Public Representatives is prepared by The Ministry of Home, Govt of India which is known as protocol list.
